Just when we thought the tidal wave of Star Wars: The Last Jedi euphoria had reached its crescendo, director Ron Howard, the man tasked with completing the upcoming Han Solo Anthology movie takes to twitter to relight the fires once again.
Succeeding the unveiling of both the new The Last Jedi poster and the pulse pounding trailer, which had set the internet alight with excited chatter, Ron Howard took to twitter to confirm that the untitled Han Solo anthology movie was no longer untitled.
With the help of a certain Wookiee, a walking carpet that shall remain nameless (we’re looking at you Chewie), the director officially unveiled the title of the much-anticipated movie and ended the speculation that had surrounded the project since its inception.
And the name of the is movie is, Ron?
Howard has documented his experience making Solo: A Star Wars Story on Twitter throughout production which has presented the fans with a refreshing change of pace. Star Wars projects are traditionally a tight-lipped affair but Howard, has truly broken the mould with his regular updates and the fans have embraced them wholeheartedly.
Excitement for the project, will surely be dialled to eleven in the wake of this announcement, and at Future of the Force, we cannot wait to get started. Solo: A Star Wars Story, set prior to the events of the original Star Wars trilogy, is slated for release on May 25, 2018.
